Data in production

You brief one developer, not a chain of account managers. The person who designs your screens is the person who ships them and answers the phone on launch day.

Selected work

Products in production, not prototypes.

Every project below has real users and a real deadline behind it. Open one to see the stack, the numbers and what I actually built.

Services

What I take on.

Most engagements are one of these four, scoped and priced up front so you know the number before we start.

01

Mobile applications

FlutterReact NativeExpoiOS and Android

One codebase, two stores. Live maps and location, push notifications, offline state, payments, and the release work needed to get through review and go public. Not a demo build.

02

Web platforms and SaaS

Next.jsReactTypeScriptTailwind

Marketing sites that convert and dashboards that hold up under load. Server rendering for search visibility, authentication and roles, Stripe or Razorpay billing, plus admin tools your team can operate.

03

Backend and cloud architecture

Node.jsGolangPostgreSQLAWSDocker

APIs, data models and infrastructure designed to survive growth. Containerised deploys, CI/CD, monitoring and cost control. I run a 500 GB production system for under 1,500 dollars a month.

04

Product design and rescue work

FigmaDesign systemsAuditsRefactors

Interface design when there is no designer, and triage when a previous team left things broken. Performance audits, migrations and rewrites that ship in stages instead of stopping the business.

About

One developer, the whole product.

You brief one person. That person designs it, builds it, deploys it and keeps it running. No handover gaps, no telephone game.

I started freelancing in 2023 and have spent the years since shipping software people actually use. Rawpng serves over a thousand users a day, TaxiSure sits on the Play Store rated 4.2, and a 500 GB financial data platform I built for Indian banks has stayed online through two years of growth.

My range is deliberately wide: Flutter and React Native for mobile, Next.js for web, Node and Golang on the backend, AWS underneath. One engagement covers the whole product instead of three vendors arguing over an API contract.

Alongside client work I won the FoodoScope Hackathon at IIIT Delhi, interned building production food tech apps, and I am joining MAQ Software as a software engineer, which keeps my enterprise data and Azure work current.

How it works

Three weeks in, you already have a build.

Weekly demos and a live staging link, so you steer the product while it is being built rather than after.

01 / SCOPE

Scope and estimate

A call, then a written scope covering features, stack, milestones and a fixed price. You approve the document before any code exists.

02 / DESIGN

Screens and architecture

Figma flows for every screen and a data model for everything behind them. Changes are cheap here and expensive later.

03 / BUILD

Weekly shippable builds

A live staging link and a demo every week. No four week silence followed by a surprise.

04 / LAUNCH

Publish and monitor

Store submissions, DNS, CI/CD, analytics and error tracking. Then 30 days of included support.

Client words

What working with me looks like.

We came to Nikhil with a half finished app and a deadline. He rebuilt the backend, fixed the live tracking and got us onto the Play Store in six weeks.
Davendar Singh Founder, TaxiSure
Half a terabyte of banking data and our cloud bill still came in under budget. The architecture document he wrote before touching code is what convinced our board.
Mr Ajay Operations lead, Knotorious
One developer delivered our web platform and mobile app together from a single codebase. Agency quotes were three times the price for less scope.
Sandeep Sethi Product owner, Packtok
Nikhil built the AQYNTRA site the way an export brand needs to look online. Clear product story, enquiry flow that actually reaches sales, and we were live in weeks not months.
Vishal Singh Founder, AQYNTRA
Questions

What clients ask first.

A marketing site starts small. A full mobile app with a backend is a larger engagement split across milestones. I quote one fixed price after a scoping call, so there is no hourly meter and no surprise invoice. Payment is released per milestone you sign off.
A focused first version typically takes 6 to 10 weeks from kickoff to store submission. Larger platforms with bidding, payments or heavy data run 4 to 6 months. Either way you have a working staging build inside the first three weeks.
Often. A good share of my work is joining something already in progress: adding a mobile app to an existing web product, taking over an abandoned codebase, or fixing performance and infrastructure. I start with an audit so we both know what we are dealing with before committing to a plan.
You do, completely. Repositories, cloud accounts, store listings and domains are in your name from day one. You get documentation and a walkthrough at handover, so you are never locked into me.
Thirty days of bug fixes are included. After that most clients move to a monthly retainer covering monitoring, dependency and operating system updates, small features and priority response. It is optional, never a condition of the build.
I take on a small number of projects at a time so each one gets real attention. Send a brief and you will get an honest answer about start dates within a day, including if the timing does not work.

A couple of lines about the product, who it is for and roughly when you need it is enough to start. You get a reply within a day, with honest feedback on scope even if I am not the right fit.
